Inkpot Alchemy
Cheryl Cook & Dijanne Cevaal
As an artistic collaboration since 2023, we continue to explore botanical inks and contemporary approaches to creative practice inspired by landscape and the environment
When opportunities arise, our joint workshops invite artists, curious individuals and explorers of nature to engage with materiality, sustainability and creative experimentation. No particular expertise is required just curiosity and an adventurous willingness to explore sometimes in a field laboratory of bushland.

Botanical Inks musings…
Thinking deeply about botanical inks…
How can you capture and creatively express the ‘place of your heart’?
How can we work in partnership with nature?
How can we work sustainably and with joy?
You can find out how to make the inks in ‘Inkpot Alchemy': Book 1 that we have co-written. Book 2 is where you can further indulge in finding out how resilient natural inks are as well as printing with them. Book 3 is a more reflective publication centred on place, attention and the relationship between material, observation and creative practice.
All books are $25 each including postage within Australia.
